The Greenville Zombie Outbreak continues in 2015 and no one is safe in this horrific zombie shoot! This apocalyptic Halloween attraction is a totally immersive haunted house attraction.. without the haunted house! You will crap your panties as you truly feel helpless in this outdoor zombie apocalypse scenario.

Run for your life, shoot zombies, cry like a little girl as the terror of waking up in a world filled with the walking dead that have taken over Greenville South Carolina becomes a reality. This is a truly mad world Halloween haunted attraction created by Jason Profit, the famously sick mind that created the Greenville Ghost Tour.

Jason’s paranormal research lead to a mysterious canister at one undisclosed location. Upon inspection by Jason’s team, it was found to be leaking some mysterious fluid. The entire team became infected with the Zombivirus contained within rendering the whole research facility a horrific zombie outbreak. Luckily Jason wasn’t there, but when he returned he had to start blasting his team members because they were trying to eat his brains! Unfortunately, the outbreak is spreading to Anderson, Clemson and Spartanburg… Email Haunt Owner

Review This Haunt

An HONEST review of the Greenville Zombie Outbreak One of the biggest flaws of the Greenville Zombie Outbreak is false advertisement. Before you enter the haunt, and even on the website, you are warned multiple times that you will experience intense gore and violence as well as psychological terror. I can confidently and dejectedly say that there was NO intense gore (sadly), NO intense or extreme violence (again, sadly), and there was NO psychological terror (was hoping to have my psychiatrist on speed dial afterwards, but that was not necessary, and I doubt it would ever be necessary for anyone who may have the misfortune of experiencing this 'haunt'). Furthermore, on the website, it is advertised that one will experience a "Curiosity Museum". If the owners of this haunt consider their "museum" (if one would dare call it that), then they must consider the Smithsonian a tin shack because their "Curiosity Museum" was three pieces of plywood tacked together with poorly created "freaks" in specimen jars that were too lazily crafted to even get a good glimpse of - with the success and hype surrounding American Horror Story: Freak Show, it would've been in the haunt owner's best interest to capitalize on that and create something truly unique and never-before seen with actors and makeup, but sadly they chose to do something very lacking. The haunt and trail portion, preceding the zombie shoot, was very underwhelming to say the least. With low hanging branches popping you in the face as you pass and large roots and debris littering the path, the scariest part is wondering if you're going to leave the place with a broken leg. The haunt/walk through is quite short and incredibly, shockingly poorly lit - a haunt is like a major movie production happening every single night, and lighting is a major part of that, however there was little to no lighting design present here. Lastly, the zombie shoot. The wording on the website is very vague and implies that the weapons that you will be shooting the zombies with have some sort of projectiles/bullets with the phrase "NO HEAD OR FACE SHOTS!!! PERIOD!". From reading that, one would assume that you'll be given small air-soft weapons with air-soft pellets in them as ammunition. Nope. Not at all. When entering the zombie shoot you receive a small, plastic weapon that shoots automatic puffs of air and are then advised by the person giving you the weapons that you must kill with headshots only. The website also states that the arena in which you will be shooting said zombies will be filled with "hordes" and you will be required to "... Find a bunker to hide in while dodge [sic] zombies". Believe me when I say, there was no "dodge" (ing) or hiding to be done. The area is quite small with no real places to hide and the actors come from very obvious places (it would've been very entertaining to actually be surrounded and not know where the next one is coming). As someone who has been experiencing haunted attractions around South Carolina for 5+ years, this was honestly one of the worst haunts I've experienced thus far. The scariest part of the night was getting in my car afterwards and realizing the amount of money I had wasted that night. In my opinion, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

  • Scariest haunt in SC

This place is terrifyingly fun. Almost totally dark the entire way through, you can't ever see what's coming. It starts out pretty mild, but by the end you are sure to be quaking in your boots!

  • Crazy scary and lasts longer than most!

The whole thing lasted longer than most haunted houses and was dark. It starts off mild then gets more intense as you encounter more zombies. You have to go experience it for yourself.
