Dating back to the early 1900's, the Lydia Mill once had on-site housing for its employees. Now in ruins, the place is said to be haunted by a female spirit who roams the grounds, spotted near the railroad tracks or in the mill building.

  • Ghost of Lydia Mill

I grew up with the story of the ghost of a woman who wanders up and down the railroad tracks. It was before the mill was shut down. She would walk back and forth and you could hear her raunts. By the story told to us, she was killed by a train. My great grandmother, other family and family friends worked at that mill.
