At this lake is where Susan Smith killed her children by strapping them into her vehicle and rolling it into the lake. She claimed her kids were kidnapped by a carjacker. Those who have visited the monument erected to the children have claimed to see orbs and hear children's laughter.

I went to this lake and it's so sad to see the place were an evil mother took her two beautiful baby boys lives all over a man. This lake has alot of sadness. Just pulling up. You can feel those kids around you. I've actually gotten touched by a small hand one day. When I was out there just standing by my mom's car. That same day my mother and myself heard a child laughing and we actually found a childs hand prints on my moms front bumper. I actually cried.
