Old Post Office

This historic post office is said to be one of the most haunted locations in town. Witnesses say there is a ladder in the postmasters office that leads to secret passageways in the ceiling of the building, which the postmaster himself used to spy on employees. Strange occurrences here include sounds of screams, disembodied footsteps and moans coming from the passageways. When investigated, nothing was found. Other reports have come from the basement of the post office, including the discovery of human bones after employees were removing the boiler. The bones has been buried underneath the basement floor. A former senator is also said to linger the basement in spirit, who utilized the space for his exercising. Ghostly voices have been heard on this floor, along with the feeling of cold spots. The roof is another location of the Post Office that is said to be haunted. A workman had slipped and fell to his death while working on renovations, and those passing by the building on stormy nights have spotted a shadowy figure falling from the dome. The figure disappears before hitting the pavement.
