Now operating as a museum, the location was once the historic jail building and dates back to the Civil War era. The most haunted spot in the building is said to be the third floor, where the worst of prisoners were housed. Reports here include ghostly footsteps and the spirit of a friendly African American prisoner named Earl, who has been spotted on the upper floor.
