This was a very scary haunted house. Surprises throughout. The virtual queue makes the wait time minimal and it was an affordable evening for the family. Definitely gives Boone Hall fright night a run for the money!!! Will return next year.

10/28/23 visited the Southern Screams Haunted House .. this was my first time visiting a haunted house in more than 2 decades and I really enjoyed it. The scenery, costumes and actors were amazing. Recommended by a friend Regina and will come back again and tell others to visit before next year Halloween season.

It was OK, the actors and decorations were great but we got grouped with other random people who rushed ahead and ruined most of the scares. This made the whole haunt seem really short.

Brought our teen son and his 4 friends and we all had an awesome time! Dad and I were able to hang out in the R.I.P SECTION while the teens did the haunted house. They came out genuinely afraid! Will definitely come back next year!!

From a haunters perspective. This is a well designed and acted haunt. Being from Ohio and seeing this, it was great. An attractive price and a lot of fun. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend checking them out.

Southern Screams 2023: TRAPPED at Holy City Brewing is a haunted attraction that is one of the most detailed haunted houses in existence. It’s an amazing value and a great time. There was amazing attention to detail and scares in every corner. If you bring kids I definitely suggest getting the glow light add-ons for them.

For over a decade there’s only been 1 haunt in Charleston, it’s great but so crowded, parking is scarce, and there’s no bars close by. Southern Screams is in a much cooler part of town at a local brewery! Scary and fun.

I attended southern screens, haunted house at holy city brewing in Charleston. The group that I went with jumped, screamed and was positively delighted the whole way through! It was very large, very organized, and very professionally executed. I never knew my adult son could be as frightened as what he was and he commented man that was really screwed up and wild and then he proceeded to tell me he was going to get some friends and go back and do it again! Southern Screams puts together a master piece every single time. I’ve followed this haunted house since it’s inception and it has evolved into the best Halloween production I’ve ever seen; better than Halloween Horror Nights or Halloscream — I’m serious. From the production to the choreography to the gruesome but fun environment, this really is an unforgettable experience. The smells, the looks, the costumes, the scenes, everything is professional. You can tell these guys are experts and we’re born for this. Guaranteed your kids will have nightmares.

It’s also affordable and an easy process. They don’t shove a bunch of people in at once. They only let small groups in at a time to experience every single corner of the production. These guys are definitely making it BIG in this industry! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Even if you’re not easily scared, the sheer amount of precision in every detail of this production will blow your mind. The sights, the smells, the scares. Top quality and execution like that of big dollar events like hollo-scream or Halloween Horror Nights- but this one in your own backyard.

Every year it grows and get bigger, badder and better. I have no doubt that Southern Screams haunted events will become a tradition with your friends and family.

This haunted house was amazing!! From all the details in each room to the smells and amazing actors!! So much time and thought was put into this and it was worth the experience!! So professionally done and so much scarier than Boone hall!! I would recommend to go if you are ready to pee your pants, don’t waste your money on Boone hall, pay your money to this attraction. Can’t wait for next year!!

I have been to a lot of haunted houses over the past 55 years and this by far was TERRIFYING!! From the unexpected scares throughout to the very disgusting gore and believable story line to the creepy clown I was completely blown away!!

Southern Screams put on a fabulous show. It was such a fun time and I don’t usually get scared! They sure had me screaming though.

Last year was amazing! Didnt expect to be scared at all and almost peed myself. Would reccomend for sure...but not for weak hearts...or bladders.
