Review This HauntWe went this weekend...
I normally love this haunt. It is defiantly one of the better haunts where I live. Unfortunately, this year compared to the years before was disappointing. Now i understand that there are regulations on what you can do because of the corona virus but, we where in close contact in the HUGE line (that just lead to another long line) , on the bus, in the house, and on the hayride. With that being said I don't know why there were very few actors. In the years before you could barely look up without having a terrifying scare actor in your face but this year for every section there were maybe 3-4 actors. If done the right way you could get a lot of scares with only 3 actors but not when all 3 actors are focusing on one person. The hay ride was always my favorite part but this year was different because of the lack of scares. We went through 3 sections before a scare actor even tried to scare anyone in my 4 person group. Another thing that kind of disappointed me was the actors weren't in full costumes. You could tell there were those actors that truly love to haunt but the others had regular clothes and little make-up or a mask on. It made me look at them like regular people which ruined a few of the sections that use to be amazing. Now don't get me wrong there were a few parts that were badass (demon girls, wrong turn, and witch girls) but still need a little more work. Now on to the house, this year they leaned more on the animatronics and special affects which were great. The actors were repetitive but seemed to communicate more which was cool. We all know actors who communicate and scare you at the same time are amazing. Just like on the hayride they cut down on actors which is probably because of the virus. The bus has to be the most disappointing this year because, there were only two actors and when you get of the bus they just stand there and wait. Overall the haunt would have been a lot better this year if they had more actors that truly love to haunt. It wasn't bad enough to get me to stop loving this haunt but it was disappointing. Hopefully next year they will be back to there normal terrifying experience.

Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: this was FUN.!!!!!
the big pig guy was funny and freddy ad michael scared me but i had a great time thank to all of the actors
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Kreepy Hollow is the best!!
By far the best attraction in South Carolina. You can see the time that’s put into this haunt every single time. They add more stuff year in and year out than any other haunt. 3 attractions for the price of what most SC haunts charge for one make this a must see!

Wow...Scary Hollow
Wow...scary hollow! That was a long haunted journey. The scariest part was the hayride. There were creepy characters hiding in places and they will scare you when you least expect them. Some even jumped into the wagon and reached for us. There were plenty of animatronics too. Of course, Freddy and Michael deserves special mention. The house was equally terrifying. Clowns in the house made my kids scream. The house was a two storey building and navigating through the hallways was really creepy in the darkness. I would say that the actors have all done their jobs well. We truly enjoyed this!

Had soooo much fun here! The creepy bus ride was very interesting. The first stop of the ride was on a graveyard and then it leads to the haunted house and finally we will take a two mile hayride. My only one suggestion is to avoid strobe lights and loud music during the bus ride. It diminishes the scare factor of the ride. The chainsaws were really frightening. The fake chainsaws which sounds like leaf blowers was a bit perplexing though. The actors were ready to take pictures with us after the visit. The line was too long but the visit was worth the wait. Scare lovers should check this place out.

I went with a group of 8 (four of them were under the age of 12, me included) and it was scare-a-rific. My favorite part will always be the hay ride. The only downside is the lines, but they are 100% worth it. I still go every year.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Kreepy Hollow is by far the best haunted house around!!!
Overall the scariest part of it all was the house. The bus and hayride was fun, but there weren't enough actors at a couple of the spots to work the entire trailer. The bus is just always fun.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Great place
Kreepy Hollow has something no other place has--the bus ride, and it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!To me, it is the best part. But everything is great--bus, house and hayride. We are coming tonight, and I cannot even wait. I love everything about this place. We have been every year and don't plan to skip a year. Keep up the good work!

Very Entertaining.... Loved It!!
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: scary
It was not that scary the scariest part was the hayride. The haunted house is nothing like what they said it would be but overall I loved it.
Scare Factor: Fun Factor: Haunt Value: Very impressed!
I am a huge scarowinds fan. Season pass holder. But i was looking for a change of pace. Went with a group of 12 from Lancaster, SC. Got the fast pass, well worth the money. Loved the bus ride with freddy and michael breaking in to get us. The haunted house was quiet and eerie, noise kills the scare factor. The hayride was the icing on the cake. I will come back for sure. Just two suggestions. No strobe light and loud music on bus it diminishes the scare factor and finally the hayride needs a bench and backing like scream acres. Im 46 and sitting criss cross applesauce killed my legs. Other than that, killer fun. This was my first trip and will spread the word on facebook on how much fun i had. Also loved the chainsaws, scarowinds has fake chainsaws that sound like leafblowers, so lame. Thanks again for the great time!
