Once operating as the "Guilds Inn," this restaurant is now called the "Old Village Post House Inn." The location was featured in “Haunted Inns of the Southeast” under its previous name. The book suggested that the ghost of Captain Samuel Guilds, the previous owner, haunted the place, and that the best time to visit if you wanted to meet him was during a full moon. No word on whether or not the current owners continue to experience paranormal activity.
