DuPre House - Real Georgetown Haunt
Currently a Bed & Breakfast, the historic DuPre house offers guests a comfortable lodging and an unforgettable experience. The DuPre house is occupied by two ghosts, a mother and daughter who lived during the civil war era. According to legend, the two women were burned to death in a fire. Now their ghosts wander their former home and bring with them the smell of smoke. Visitors to the house have encountered apparitions of the two women and heard their footsteps echoing in the hallways.
